About the role
- Act as a key advisor on AI strategy
- Drive transition from experimental codebases to scalable AI architecture
- Architect and execute the hiring strategy
- Own the full AI lifecycle
- Establish evaluation benchmarks and testing protocols
- Manage a team of TLMs and ICs
- Partner with Hardware and Product teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years in a formal management role
- Proven track record in AI/ML leadership
- Experience with production-grade models (computer vision, imitation learning, or robotics is a plus)
- Experience hiring and structuring teams in high-growth environments
- Understand the full stack of AI
- Ability to navigate ambiguity
- Strong communication skills
