About the role
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers to achieve business outcomes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Marketing, Design, Production) to align on priorities and unblock hurdles.
- Foster engineer growth through coaching, feedback, and tailored development plans.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years managing engineering teams.
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in system design and architecture, with experience guiding teams to balance short-term needs with long-term scalability.
- Strong people management skills, with experience mentoring engineers and fostering career growth.
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration, aligning diverse teams to achieve shared goals.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving execution in a high-stakes, outcome-driven environment.
- Experience with metrics-driven development, such as building dashboards or tracking KPIs like first-pass yield or bug resolution SLAs.
- Familiar with robotics or hardware/software integration (preferred but not required).
