Develop extensible master plans for strategic growth, including renewals, new sites, relocations, renovations, and minor facilities projects.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations to establish annual capital budgets and operating costs and lead business case development.
Manage end-to-end execution of real estate transactions, including site selection, brokerage engagement, acquisition, LOI and lease negotiations, and integration with construction and operations.
Lead and oversee real estate, construction, and facilities team members and manage multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines and lease commitments.
Oversee lease administration platforms and maintain accuracy for US portfolio data; monitor lease options, renewals, and critical lease dates.
Lead site acquisition processes, zoning, permitting, financial forecasting, and oversee purchase, lease, and sale transactions through acquisition closings and lease commencement.
Oversee design, construction, vendor coordination, building and equipment standards, incorporate ADA and EH&S requirements, and monitor space utilization and costs.
Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership and maintain governance structure and compliance with corporate real estate standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or international equivalent) in Architectural Design, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate, construction, or facilities management, with in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate lease practices.
Retail healthcare experience preferred.
Experience with space utilization methodologies and office furniture systems.
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with a wide range of constituencies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in lease administration platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
