About the role
- Oversee end-to-end claims operations: submission, denial resolution, payment posting, and reconciliation.
- Manage payer relationships including recurring denial review calls and fee schedule implementation.
- Hire, train, and develop a team of medical billers to maintain high performance and compliance.
- Analyze denial trends and coordinate with coding and clinical operations to address root causes.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to evaluate RCM software and optimize the claims pipeline
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Deep expertise in medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and payer policies across Medicare Stars and risk adjustment programs.
- Proven ability to analyze RCM data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve financial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop a remote team.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment
