About the role

  • Provide insight for the People Directorate colleagues and subject matter experts by providing people data and analytical commentary to help the organisation.
  • Identify and impact key people metrics and themes in the core areas of the employee life cycle including recruitment, development, reward and benefits, payroll and people process.
  • Provide a first point of contact regarding People related reporting and analytics, that support the service delivery of the People Directorate.
  • Ensure that data standards and other process documentation are current, and help to update as we evolve our processes, embedding data standards into everyday People team processes.
  • Gain insights through the data we collect, that guide decision making.
  • Taking a lead role to protect the confidentiality of all people metrics and associated personal information.
  • Supporting and working collaboratively with senior management to define, produce and communicate people insight and trends.
  • Presenting context, insight and priorities in a variety of formats.
  • Educate and drive adoption within the People team and wider colleagues on how data can be used to their advantage.

Requirements

  • Fantastic attention to detail as a critical thinker.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and ability to translate data into business dialogue.
  • An ability to provide insights that enhance and complement the raw data/analytics.
  • Ability to talk through patterns and themes in an easy, digestible way.
  • Proficiency in excel (advanced).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to apply project management techniques, including time management and organizational skills system skills.
  • Formal technical training in Business objects development / reporting / dashboard design.
