About the role
- You will provide a first point of contact for all staff and managers to answer and respond to information requests and advice on HR policies.
- Provide quality advice that is functionally consistent and accurate to managers, in response to employee relations matters.
- Utilise people and other related systems.
- Retain accurate, concise and clear notes to track cases, ensuring completion of closing procedures for all incident and service requests.
- Adopt a coaching approach, while providing advice and guidance, utilising agreed techniques, e-learning tools and systems.
- Take responsibility for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all HR policies and procedures.
- Support the delivery of incoming/outgoing transfers under TUPE.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times, in particular of sensitive HR data.
Requirements
- Must have CIPD professional qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
- Ability to build credibility for self and the service by establishing and developing excellent relationships.
- Ability to select, analyse and interpret data.
- Proven presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable leadership skills to drive and support continuous organisational improvement.
- Working knowledge of key employment law.
- Demonstrable continued professional development.
