Drive partner-specific projects to enable the Spotify experience for millions of users
Own the partner journey and drive holistic partner management and improvement initiatives
Develop effective communication strategies and work within a community of Partner Engineers to improve standards and frameworks
Unblock internal and external teams by identifying dependencies, assessing technical risks, and clarifying uncertainty
Ensure partner solutions are reusable and aligned with larger strategic concerns
Ensure the Spotify experience shipped with partners is high quality and continuously improving
Ensure robust testing and bug reporting practices, including automated tests
Mentor and coach less experienced Partner Engineers
Collaborate with partners worldwide to integrate the Spotify experience into partner platforms and translate partner requirements into actionable work for engineering teams
Requirements
Experience working closely with partners, customers, or vendors and excellent communication across cultures and domains (product, business, engineering, design)
Experience working in Software Engineering in an agile environment
Understanding of diverse APIs, SDKs and systems
Professional experience programming in Kotlin, Swift or Java (preferred)
Ability to recognize operational processes needing improvement and drive improvements
Comfortable with flexible working hours to accommodate video calls across time zones
