• Assist our skilled support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
• Build, test, and deploy features for modern web applications by contributing to projects that involve full-stack development, CI/CD workflows, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and performance.
• Help review large projects within Engineering by reviewing technical options, working collaboratively within the Engineering team to find the best solution for Sports Reference.
• Help review and implement processes around security and compliance.

Software Engineer

• Help design, build, and test complex, high-visibility technical projects for Engineering.
• Work on modern web applications serving millions of users and incorporating data from 5 sports across 7 reference websites.
• Produce high-quality results by contributing to projects involving full-stack development, CI/CD workflows, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Actively own features and define long-term health while improving the health of surrounding systems.
• Assist support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
• Write understandable, testable code with a focus on maintainability and performance.
• Stay updated with new trends and tools that may benefit the company.
