Senior Software Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help design, build, and test complex, high-visibility technical projects for Engineering.
- Work on modern web applications serving millions of users and incorporating data from 5 sports across 7 reference websites.
- Produce high-quality results by contributing to projects involving full-stack development, CI/CD workflows, and data ingestion pipelines.
- Actively own features and define long-term health while improving the health of surrounding systems.
- Assist support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
- Write understandable, testable code with a focus on maintainability and performance.
- Stay updated with new trends and tools that may benefit the company.
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than three years of experience in a software development position.
- Experience managing direct reports OR strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proven mentoring/coaching experience
- High Emotional Intelligence
- Experience resolving interpersonal conflict
- A desire to manage people career growth, yearly goals, perform annual performance reviews.
- Evidence of capability to meet numerous listed goals.
