About the role

  • Responsible for growing the customer base and setting the foundation for the sales team.
  • Sell a Gen AI-native product (DataPilot/DataMates) to enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Generate pipeline from thousands of existing free users and via outbound channels like LinkedIn and Email.
  • Identify key stakeholders, uncover challenges, and secure business wins during the deal cycle.
  • Manage POC scoping, price negotiations, security reviews, and procurement steps with solution architects.
  • Drive expansion by increasing product usage within existing customers and identifying upsell opportunities.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of the modern data stack and data lifecycle stages.
  • Required 7+ years of experience in selling to enterprises within the data ecosystem.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentations tailored to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability to hustle and generate pipeline through multiple channels (outbound, prospecting into free user base).
  • Passion, persistence, and a “make-it-happen” mindset.
  • (Bonus) Startup Experience: Been at a Series A or B startup before.
