About the role

  • Inspect homes for compliance by driving through neighborhoods Spectrum serves in Midland and Odessa (approximately 2 days per week) and note compliance issues
  • Use personal vehicle for community drives (mileage reimbursed)
  • De-escalate and resolve conflicts with difficult or upset homeowners; provide customer service and conflict resolution
  • Perform administrative duties in the office when not driving neighborhoods
  • Work with homeowners regarding compliance issues, improvement requests, and resolution of those issues and requests
  • Receive Homeowner payments, answer billing questions, order office supplies, and follow up on outstanding issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries by understanding the inquiry, reviewing previous similar inquiries and responses, researching information, assembling and forwarding information to the customer, and verifying customer understanding
  • Continually increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading/understanding governing documents of each homeowner’s association
  • Attend board meetings when necessary
  • Answer internal and external emails and phone calls; contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements

  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Auto insurance meeting minimum requirements and proof required at hire
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Good driving record
  • Auto policy limits of at least $100,000.00 for each accident and $50,000.00 per person for bodily injury
  • Comfortable helping frustrated homeowners / Proven skill in conflict resolution and customer service
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and iPad
  • Ability to enter data into databases
  • Organization and time management
  • Problem solving and analysis
  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
  • Customer service minded with the ability to work as a part of a team
  • Strong organization and follow-up
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to understand and carry out oral and written requests
  • Able to multitask and learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Anticipates the needs of our clients by continually evaluating the environment during interfacing
  • Attend board meetings when necessary
  • No previous HOA industry experience required (industry experience not required)
