About the role

  • Promoting and marketing Work Truck Solutions and Comvoy business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and communication to prospective dealerships
  • Scheduling initial meetings for the sales team
  • Providing in-depth information to the sales team enabling qualified and productive consultative meetings and demos
  • May be asked to contact former potential clients who may have ‘gone cold’ to explore their interest in Work Truck Solutions products and services
  • Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through web research
  • Meet or exceed the assigned quota of a minimum of 40 outreaches (mostly calls) per day
  • Working with the Sales Leader to grow a specific sales territory
  • Working with the Sales Leader to support acquisition of new dealerships in defined territories
  • Helping as needed to build awareness on special projects, events, and initiatives for the company, including unique selling opportunities
  • Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in Salesforce, our CRM
  • Diligently update Salesforce, to stay current on contacts, leads, and follow-ups
  • Shadow sales team members in meetings and other activities to help you acquire skills needed for your next role on the sales team

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred and 1-3 years of professional work experience in telephonic customer interactions, preferably outbound
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • You must have excellent grammar skills, enjoy speaking with business professionals, and be a great listener
  • Fearlessness - willing to be on the phone with new people every single day and explain Work Truck Solutions' value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with
  • Obsession with prospecting new opportunities and setting the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • The courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it, bringing solution-oriented change proposals to the sales leader
