About the role
- Build and Optimize Data Infrastructure: Manage and implement scalable data pipelines using Airflow for orchestration and dbt for transformation to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
- Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Develop data models and metrics that facilitate critical analysis for business decisions.
- Empowerment: Proactively evaluate and evolve our tool stack to support stakeholders to make answering questions with data as frictionless as possible.
- Collaboration and Systems Thinking: Partner with product managers, analysts, and other engineers to design data solutions and processes for business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Deep understanding of big data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and comfort working with Python
- Experience managing data platform tooling, such as data ingestion, reverse ETL, visualization, data observability, alerting, etc.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively
