Responsible for managing configuration and changes in existing systems (the client’s business solution) and in projects developing new solutions, including creating baselines, verifying naming standards and the organization of configuration items in the Configuration Management tool, as well as configuration and change control of delivered products.
Understand the principles of configuration management;
Maintain full attention to detail for all system/application configuration;
Ensure developers comply with configuration management policies and procedures;
Assist in creating and controlling current versions (for use in version rollbacks);
Support the team responsible for opening Change Requests by presenting the elements that will be used in deployment;
Execute project monitoring and control;
Maintain the Configuration Management Plan;
Provide system installation in the Production environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or completion of any undergraduate degree accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, Master’s or PhD) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
Preferred experience: work in configuration management, change control and governance of IT environments, using version control tools, continuous integration, and technical auditing in projects.
