About the role
- Drive net-new logo acquisition for Sourcegraph’s Mid-market territory focused on product-led users
- Ramp quickly on Amp and understand the agentic AI coding space and product differentiators
- Analyze the PLG funnel to identify PQLs and generate pipeline through outbound and PLG upsell
- Run discovery and closing calls; own first-touch demos and launch sales cycles
- Build trusted relationships with developers, engineering leaders, and executives; identify and nurture champions
- Multi-thread with economic buyers and close strategic opportunities into multi-year contracts
- Demonstrate Amp tailored to developer workflows and sell consumption/usage-based motions where relevant
- Collaborate with CSMs, Account Managers, Solutions Engineers, and Product to align on customer goals and drive consumption
- Contribute product feedback and influence roadmap based on field insights
- Meet performance goals: pipeline, new logos, and revenue; enable future AEs and help set PLG+AI sales playbook
Requirements
- 2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a PLG environment
- Thrive in environments building your own pipeline and selling net-new logos
- Proven success selling to developers, engineering managers, and VPs of Engineering
- Comfortable navigating a hybrid motion (product-led + top-down Mid-market)
- Excellent storytelling and discovery skills; build trust and uncover pain
- Strong understanding of developer tools, DevOps workflows, and AI trends
- Proficient in using product analytics (e.g., Looker) to prioritize and forecast pipeline
- Demonstrated success managing a book of business with high velocity deals
- Confident and curious; demo product well and adapt off-script
- High agency: ownership of your business and thrive in fast-moving competitive spaces
- Must be located in the United States, specifically on the East Coast
- Willingness to participate in reference checks and background check (U.S.)
- Familiarity with Amp (agentic AI coding tool) is preferred
