About the role
- Lead cross-functional “big bet” programs spanning Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success to deliver AI/ML initiatives that transform claims processing
- Own quarterly roadmap planning and coordinate execution across multiple teams, ensuring alignment on customer delivery timelines and go-to-market activities
- Work directly with executive leadership providing regular detailed reporting on program health, risks, and outcomes, including strategic status updates
- Manage customer delivery accountability including escalation resolution, go-live support, and ensuring all teams are aligned to delivery commitments
- Build and maintain sprint plans across multiple teams and business units, coordinating dependencies for platform releases and customer implementations
- Establish metrics and accountability systems that drive execution velocity across programs, tracking end-to-end delivery efficiency and customer success indicators
- Maintain cross-functional resource view across Engineering and Data Science teams to optimize allocation, identify bottlenecks, and support prioritization decisions
- Create organization-wide culture of execution through process standardization, clear escalation paths, and systematic follow-up on commitments
- Drive process improvements that streamline team coordination, eliminate planning gaps, and accelerate time-to-customer-value for AI solutions
Requirements
- 6+ years leading large-scale technical programs involving multiple engineering teams and business units, with proven track record of delivering complex AI/ML or data platform initiatives
- 4+ years working directly with executive leadership on strategic program coordination, quarterly planning, and cross-functional roadmap alignment
- 4+ years managing customer delivery accountability, including go-live timelines, escalation resolution, and post-deployment success metrics
- 3+ years building and maintaining resource planning and capacity optimization across engineering and data science teams
- 3+ years establishing program metrics, accountability systems, and executive reporting dashboards for technical program outcomes
- Expert-level program coordination skills, including dependency management, risk mitigation, and cross-team communication
- Strong technical awareness of AI/ML development cycles, data pipeline architectures, and software delivery practices to make informed trade-offs
- Production experience with program management tools (Jira, Confluence, project tracking systems) and building executive-level visibility dashboards
- Thrives in fast-paced environments with excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to drive consensus across diverse technical and business teams
- Proven ability to create and implement process improvements that scale across multiple teams and drive organizational execution excellence
