About the role
- Director, Field and Channel Marketing APAC & Japan - 12 month contract
- Hands-on, player-coach senior marketing leader reporting to VP Marketing, APJ
- Lead field marketing strategy and execution for ASEAN and ANZ and APJ-wide campaign localization
- Manage 4 direct reports and mentor regional dotted-line team members
- Own development, localization, and rollout of integrated demand generation and channel partner programs
- Collaborate closely with sales, channel partners, product marketing, digital, and ops teams
- Drive data-led decision making, track KPIs (MQLs, pipeline, ROI), and manage regional marketing budgets
- Act as central orchestrator aligning cross-functional priorities while empowering local activation
Requirements
- 10+ years of marketing experience in B2B technology, with a strong background in field marketing, demand generation, and/or channel marketing
- Proven experience leading regional or cross-country marketing teams in complex, matrixed global organizations
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Channel, Product Marketing, and Global Campaign teams
- Deep understanding of data-driven marketing strategies, including campaign performance measurement, reporting, and optimization
- Familiarity with ABX methodologies, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and MAPs (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Passion for cybersecurity, challenger brands, and driving results through creativity, agility, and customer obsession
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate and grow high-performing regional teams
- Experience managing fixed budgets and optimizing spend for maximum return
- Exceptional project management and time management capabilities
