About the role
- Manages an assigned account, or a group of accounts, with primary responsibility for creating value for assigned customers through the technical service provided
- Identify new product opportunities and sell to existing customers
- Maintain and grow assigned business relationships
- Review programs and processing procedures within the territory accounts
- Ensure effective applications through testing and regular follow-up
- Sell new business and new applications within your territory
- Work closely with the broader sales team to understand business requirements and market needs
- Manage account profitability and build a sales pipeline
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (science or other technical degree)
- 3 to 5 years of industry experience (pulp and paper preferred; tissue is an asset)
- Proven track record in resolving complex, non-routine technical problems
- Project management experience with complex projects
- Strong relationship management skills
- Experience learning new concepts and/or technologies and applying them
- Ability to work independently and lead/mentor indirect reports
- Experience working with multiple levels of an organization to achieve results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
