About the role
- Lead orchestrated strategy of digital store through merchandising, content, UX, testing, technical infrastructure and operations to drive traffic and sales
- Highlight and follow through on top site priorities and technology, product, & testing roadmaps
- Oversight of promotions, site content updates, merchandising and product setup ensuring functionality meets company expectations
- Maintain site ADA compliance and ensure updated standards are met by technology partners
- Analyze site performance metrics and trends alongside Customer Relationship Director and deliver product performance and consumer behavior insights
- Communicate key updates (site, product, promotional) to Operations and Customer Service teams
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support insights
- Initiate and maintain communication of product sales data, product trends, and inventory information to cross-functional partners
- Own and report on product mix performance vs targets and provide action plans to optimize product performance on Ecommerce site
- Collaborate with DTC, Inventory, & Forecasting teams on item-level sales and buying plans
- Partner with Americas and Product Marketing to inform DTC marketing calendar, product exclusives, promotional products, and launch timing
- Identify whitespace opportunities through customer data, sales trends, and competitive analysis to inform product development
- Work with Global Consumer Engagement, Global Product Marketing, and Ecomm Creative teams to oversee briefs to Creative & Copy for site assets
- Reports to Director, DTC
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in ecommerce (Beauty or wellness experience preferred)
- 2-3 years of team leadership
- Strong understanding of DTC best practices and ecommerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred)
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, ContentSquare, etc.)
- Strong communicator with ability to present strategic ideas across all levels and functions
- Proven success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Champion of new ideas and deep sense of curiosity
- Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong project management, analytical and presentation skills
- Nice to have: experience with DTC-first brands transitioning from high-growth to maturity, aesthetic sensibility for on-site merchandising, background in subscription models and bundling strategies
