About the role

  • Represent Sobi’s products and services to healthcare professionals, generating and growing sales while consistently achieving or exceeding targets in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
  • Promote the appropriate use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals in line with Corporate and Health Canada policies and in following IMC and BIOTE Canada guidelines.
  • Apply effective selling techniques to enhance product understanding and identify appropriate patients.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Sobi and competitor products in the therapeutic area and possess an in-depth knowledge of related disease states.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of business acumen and sales analytics
  • Understand the unique issues and opportunities specific to the territory.
  • Support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) advocacy and develop and execute speaker programs and educational activities as appropriate.
  • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, including Nephrologists, Nurses, Blood Disorder Clinics, and Pharmacists.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences.
  • Fluently Bilingual ( English, French )
  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales with a strong track record in product launches, preferably in the rare disease space
  • Nephrology experience a strong asset
  • Experience in Rare Disease or Specialty Care is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success working closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)
  • A minimum of 5 years of specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
  • At least one year of experience navigating institutional accounts and developing mutually beneficial relationships with healthcare professionals and their staff.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must reside within the designated geographic territory (Preferably based in or near Montreal, Quebec City area).
