About the role
- Conduct and/or oversee research projects using a wide variety of research methods, influencing product development, user experience improvements, go-to-market strategies, and future innovation and growth
- While hands-on experience is required, you may also work with key vendors/agencies to conduct some research projects
- Navigate ambiguity to understand the market landscape and consumer and merchant needs
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including team members, internal customers (Product Management, User Experience, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care), and vendors/agencies
- Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders
- Stay abreast of new approaches and methodologies in the research industry
Requirements
- 7+ years of work of hands-on work experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative market research
- Solid FinTech or Financial Services industry experience is required
- Strong experience using survey tools (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc.) to build and deploy complex surveys
- Experience leading large, in-depth research using a wide range of quantitative and/or qualitative techniques to identify key findings and trends
- Ability to translate intricate data into actionable insights and recommendations informing product and business evolution
- A self-motivated, independent thinker with the ability to influence company leadership and directives as well as lead and present projects to a C-suite audience
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead complex projects
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
