About the role

  • Support efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent
  • Foster a positive employee experience
  • Guide employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits programs
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws
  • Contribute to solving workplace challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting initiatives that drive team and company success
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Contribute to training and development efforts by identifying gaps and coordinating learning opportunities
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior HR team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related Field
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in team management/development or project leadership preferred
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Payroll Database software
  • Specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong reasoning and math skills
  • Must be able to travel 5-10% of the time
  • Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment
