About the role
- Support efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent
- Foster a positive employee experience
- Guide employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws
- Contribute to solving workplace challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting initiatives that drive team and company success
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
- Contribute to training and development efforts by identifying gaps and coordinating learning opportunities
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior HR team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related Field
- 3+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in team management/development or project leadership preferred
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Payroll Database software
- Specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong reasoning and math skills
- Must be able to travel 5-10% of the time
- Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment
