About the role
- Create and close new business with SMBs who can benefit from Smith.ai's AI-powered solutions
- Identify, target and close high-value outbound wins
- Leverage creative tactics and modern tooling to scale outbound
- Collaborate with marketing to define outbound strategy and messaging
- Work with an outbound BDR to source pipeline at high-value multi-location businesses
- Manage a strategic sales process cultivating relationships with multiple decision-makers
- Own revenue targets and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Help build an outbound motion from the ground up and run full-cycle sales processes
Requirements
- 2-4 years successful outbound B2B sales to small businesses
- Experience selling to small businesses, especially Legal or Home Services preferred
- Experience in growth-stage startups ($20M-$100M) preferred
- Proven ability to build pipeline and run a full-cycle sales process
- Consultative selling and outbound prospecting skills
- Ability to cultivate relationships with multiple decision-makers
- Experience leveraging modern outbound techniques and tooling
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Highly collaborative, urgent, quick learner, business savvy (cultural fit attributes)
