About the role
- Contribute to front-end and full stack feature development using React, React Native, TypeScript, and Python.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead and Senior Developer to implement new features and enhancements from concept to release.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with appropriate test coverage.
- Act as 2nd and 3rd line technical support for platform issues escalated from internal or client teams.
- Investigate and reproduce reported bugs across web, mobile, and API layers.
- Analyse logs, monitor cloud services, and identify root causes using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Sentry, or equivalent.
- Implement fixes or workarounds where appropriate, or coordinate with the Tech Lead for larger-scale solutions.
- Document findings, maintain clear issue histories, and contribute to continuous improvement of platform stability.
- Partner closely with the Senior Developer and offshore engineers to deliver high-quality, well-tested code.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate progress clearly to the Tech Lead, ensuring dependencies and blockers are managed effectively.
- Support QA and product colleagues in reproducing, verifying, and closing resolved issues.
- Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability.
- Contribute to internal documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process or monitoring improvements to prevent them.
Requirements
- TypeScript — 5+ years, building scalable, maintainable web and app solutions.
- React (and/or React Native) — 5+ years, delivering high-performance, user-focused interfaces.
- Python — 3+ years, supporting backend integration and scripting.
- Strong experience building responsive, accessible, and performant UIs.
- Proven ability to debug and resolve issues across multiple layers (frontend, API, and cloud).
- Experience using monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Sentry, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset.
