About the role
- Provide strategic technical leadership, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to teams across the organization.
- Architect resilient, scalable cloud platforms and influence enterprise-wide technical direction.
- Define siloed technical strategies, solve highly complex problems, and ensure alignment between engineering efforts and business outcomes.
- Act as a subject matter expert in CloudOps, infrastructure-as-code, observability, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Guide and mentor engineers at all levels, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning across the team.
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term planning, including platform modernization, cloud optimization, and organizational capability building.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, systems engineering, or platform architecture.
- Proven track record of leading design and implementation of mission-critical cloud platforms at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical vision and align multi-team efforts around long-term goals.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud providers, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and Kubernetes-based orchestration.
- Experience defining and influencing platform strategy and infrastructure governance.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator (or equivalent cloud certification).
