• Design, build, and ship features across our stack (Rails + React) with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Own complex projects end-to-end—from architecture to deployment—while contributing clean, testable, maintainable code
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other teams to translate business problems into thoughtful technical solutions
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, raising the bar for code quality and engineering practices

• Build and execute the retention strategy, making sure customers stay delighted long after their first box.
• Identify and improve product-led retention levers—from onboarding flows to subscription management to new feature adoption.
• Diagnose and act on churn signals, working closely with data, CX, and marketing to understand and address customer drop-off.

• Take direct ownership of performance across a mix of channels, flexing between digital, offline, and experimental opportunities.
• Build playbooks for new channel launches by testing quickly, learning efficiently, and scaling what works.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to execute and optimize campaigns.
• Research, evaluate, and launch new acquisition channels (Ex. Reddit, TikTok, OOH, etc).
• Develop playbooks to scale successful tests into repeatable growth drivers.
• Present business cases and performance forecasts to marketing leadership.
• Partner with other channel leads to ensure holistic acquisition strategies and coordinated messaging.
• Collaborate with analytics to build dashboards and regularly report out performance insights to stakeholders.
