About the role

  • You’ll build innovative developer tools that make Slice’s developers build and release high quality software faster.
  • Improve our infrastructure platform to be ready for the growth of the company.
  • Primarily work in Python to build tools as CLI tools and web applications that integrate with our Kubernetes-based infrastructure platform.
  • Collaborate closely with our developers and other stakeholders to deliver high quality tools to help them get their job done.

Requirements

  • Proven experience and passion for using backend software technologies such as Python, Go, or Ruby, automated testing.
  • Interest in working with infrastructure technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Github Actions, and Docker.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating asynchronously with teammates in different timezones and from different backgrounds.
  • Able to clearly express opinions on development processes, tooling and infrastructure, while respecting the thoughts and opinions of your peers.
