About the role
- Manage the End-to-End Bid Lifecycle: Lead the full proposal process for RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals from qualification to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Manage the Sales order process for our current book of Inspection business: Produce internal scopes and proposals for our recurring and non-reccurring business in Europe as well as managing the signature of orders via our contract management platform.
- Develop Bid Strategy: Work with the sales team, sales operations, marketing and leadership to define the winning strategy, key messaging, and value proposition for each bid.
- Content and Compliance: Project-manage the creation of high-quality, customer-specific proposal content, ensuring strict compliance with all customer requirements and legal/commercial terms.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, Technical/Operations) to gather necessary inputs and secure internal approvals.
- Content Library Management: Maintain and improve a library of standardized content, case studies, and response templates to increase bid efficiency and quality.
- Performance Analysis: Track bid metrics (win/loss ratio, cycle time) and conduct post-bid reviews to drive continuous improvement in the proposal process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, or a related role within an enterprise technology or industrial sector company.
- Proven ability to manage complex bid processes with a history of successful proposal submissions.
- Industry Experience (preferred): Wind energy (asset management or service sales).
- Industrial technology/asset management solutions.
- Enterprise SaaS with complex, long-cycle deal experience.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and writing/editing skills.
- Familiarity with contract management and CRM software or content management systems is a plus.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional organization.
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in German, Danish, or Spanish would be a benefit.
