About the role
- Design and implement the People & Culture framework for DSL aligned with SkyNRG standards
- Lead the hiring strategy for the DSL plant team (approx. 80 FTE by 2028)
- Develop and implement working conditions and compensation structures aligned with employee handbook and local industry standards
- Manage DSL HR Officer and Office Manager
- Build partnerships with local institutions and industry peers to position DSL as employer of choice
- Oversee people operations including payroll, contract management, onboarding, and offboarding
- Provide strategic HR support to DSL management team ensuring alignment with compliance and HSE standards
- Source and manage external HR service providers
- Act as key link between DSL and broader SkyNRG People & Culture team
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as HR manager/ People Operations manager in a Dutch and international industrial organisation
- Strong understanding of HR requirements in a Dutch and international industrial organization
- Experience with setting up working conditions, HR systems, way of working, and collaborations with local partners to build a new team
- Business acumen & autonomy to connect PC strategies to business objectives
- Communication skills: fluent in Dutch (native) and proficient in English
- Project management skills and ability to juggle multiple initiatives
- Proactive mindset and ability to identify opportunities for improvement
- Comfortable and confident in people and culture expertise (people operations, performance management, compensation & benefits, L&D, org design)
- Passion for sustainability, innovation and teamwork
- Living within approximately one hour of Delfzijl (nice to have)
- Able to raise enthusiasm with potential new-hires (nice to have)
