Account Manager, Inside Sales

Manager

• Partners with process owners to evaluate and document key financial and IT processes and systems and related financial statement risks, including review and update of process documentation, conducting walkthroughs, preparing test plans, reviewing work of others and conducting controls testing for more technical functional areas
• Assist in identifying business and technology risks, evaluating the implications and developing appropriate internal controls to address risks
• Works with business partners to develop remediation plans and provides support with the remediation testing, advising them on control enhancements or process changes, as appropriate
• Evaluates control operating effectiveness results, identifies control deficiencies, prioritizes resolution of deficiencies
• Assists with the development and implementation of training for business partners pertaining to SOX processes and procedures
• Liaises with internal and external auditors and responds to requests or reported issues in a timely manner
• Coordinates, along with Director of Internal Controls and VP, Principal Accounting Officer, the company’s requirements for its Enterprise Risk Management Program and Business Continuity Plan
• Partners with IT to ensure that system implementations, enhancements and changes are made in compliance with SOX requirements

IT Internal Controls Manager

• Manage global public relations efforts that reflect Skillsoft’s progress across platform development, learning experiences, and customer outcomes
• Identify and develop external stories grounded in product evolution, learning delivery, and real customer results
• Translate complex information into clear, well-supported narratives for external audiences
• Partner closely across the business to uncover story opportunities and align communications with priorities
• Manage and direct external PR agencies while also building and maintaining direct relationships with targeted media
• Pitch and place stories that demonstrate progress and momentum
• Development and testing of new formats and channels to tell proof and innovation stories
• Track performance and apply insights to refine communications over time

Senior Communications Manager

Account Executive

• Drive top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition.

• Partner with Specialist reps on cross-sell opportunities for new customers.
• Collaborate and partner with Growth reps on upsell opportunities in a land-and-expand sales motion.

• Win by representing a solution line with key competitive differentiators.
• Partner with related sales, marketing, and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration.
• Responsible for meeting prep with research, agendas agreed on by prospect and a tailored presentation coupled with impeccable follow-up.
• Outline measurable and defined business objectives and goals with timelines, (related to revenue and growth of whitespace).
• Document sales data for accurate pipeline management and provide management, feedback and recommendations on pipeline health, risk, opportunity, and progress.
• Operate with a sense of urgency, be competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude.

Senior Acquisition Account Executive

Customer Success Manager

• Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned customer and drive continued value of our products and services
• Ensure customer success by consulting during the process of defining, implementing, launching, promoting, and continually evaluating the digital learning program
• Provide guidance or advise customers on Skillsoft content, platform solutions, and service offerings using Skillsoft’s Digital Learning Principles and other frameworks
• Build relationships by being a customer advocate. Develop and enhance customer learning initiatives and facilitate the resolution of customer problems and concerns
• Guide customers to develop and enhance their digital learning program by providing relevant tools and other resources
• Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption and usage trends, overall satisfaction, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
• Conduct business review meetings with customers to measure progress, assess key trends and ensure value realization
• Stays up to date on new trends and regulations and may make recommendations to Skillsoft development on customer content needs.
• Analyze white space and identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
• Collaborate with Account Team to ensure expansion and renewal
• Drive retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed by achieving targeted activity and renewal goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Take proactive steps to address potential issues before they become larger setbacks to success and manage resolution and escalation of on-going support issues to relevant stakeholders (internal & external)
• Monitor and document account health and identify and mitigate risk within your assigned accounts
• Respond to activities and create follow up tasks in a timely manner
