Application Engineer

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to AI data center customers and partners.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize system architectures for integrating Skeleton's ultracapacitors into AI data center UPS, backup power, and energy efficiency applications.
• Conduct on-site visits, technical trainings, and product demonstrations.
• Support system design, including electrical schematics, thermal considerations, and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Work closely with R&D and Product Development to communicate field feedback and improve product-market fit.
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, integration guides, and white papers tailored for the AI data center market.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications.

• Own accounting execution for Skeleton Technologies OY - end-to-end responsibility for the Finnish entity's books;
• Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, supporting audits from start to finish;
• Handle reporting and communication with Finnish state institutions, external partners, and internal/external stakeholders;
• Partner closely with our Finnish HR team on payroll execution.

• Commercial Operating Rhythm - Own the end-to-end commercial cadence - pipeline, forecasting, reporting, and weekly review structure across the European sales organization.
• Data & Insight - Build the single source of truth for commercial data, turning sales and market data into insight leadership can act on.
• Process & Efficiency - Identify and remove operational bottlenecks that slow deals down, standardize what works, and make the commercial function quicker and more predictable.
• OKRs & Execution - Translate company strategy into commercial OKRs and drive the process-improvement initiatives that deliver against them.
• Team Enablement - Keep the commercial team organized and aligned operationally and administratively, surfacing who needs to do what and when so nothing falls through the cracks.

• Taking ownership of the most complex technical issues and root cause analysis
• Supporting customers in optimizing product performance and resolving critical cases
• Developing and maintaining working methods at service workstations
• Driving continuous improvement of service processes, tools, and documentation
• Receiving fault reports and documenting findings (e.g. 8D reports)
