About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for products and systems
Drive implementation of qualification programs (DV, PV) for customer and R&D projects
Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities across EOL, EMC, vibration, and destructive testing
Ensure test coverage, reliability, and alignment with product requirements
Contribute to test method development and validation
Analyse test data and provide root cause analysis for failures
Design and implement testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies
Develop and improve testing processes, documentation, and reporting practices
Ensure safe operations in the testing laboratory in line with safety standards
Support certification processes and compliance with industry standards
Act as a technical lead and mentor for Test Engineers and Technicians
Coordinate testing activities across different testing areas and teams
Support resource planning and prioritization of testing work
Work closely with R&D, product development, quality, and production teams
Provide feedback from testing to support product improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Educational background in engineering (e.g. electrical, mechanical, or automation)
Strong experience in product testing, validation, and failure analysis
Experience in one or more testing domains (e.g. EMC, vibration, EOL, destructive testing)
Several years of relevant experience in testing or product validation roles
Understanding of testing standards and certification processes
Ability to analyse complex technical data and drive conclusions
Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset
Good communication skills in English and Finnish
