• Produce accurate monthly accounts and financial performance reports
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasts
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations and EDF Group standards
• Collaborate with Finance Manager and wider Finance & Commercial team
• Work across departments to refine financial processes and reporting tools
• Shape and improve systems within a newly established finance function
• Engage with stakeholders in France with occasional travel required
• Support Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C projects by providing financial insights

Financial Accountant

Engineer

• Assess safety of nuclear power plants under construction, modelling hazards such as fire, flood, seismic events, reactor core damage, and environmental consequences
• Evaluate potential risks to safe operation and ensure a robust safety case
• Develop PSA models for the UK EPR reactor fleet and maintain oversight of PSA work from Responsible Designer in France
• Provide Risk Informed Design insights to enhance design, construction, commissioning, and operational safety
• Contribute specialist expertise to site-specific safety cases; manage, review, and accept work from specialist contractors
• Act as the Intelligent Customer for the HPC and SZC Licensees
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationship with safety regulator
• Develop PSA models and methodologies into an operational, living PSA supporting safe, compliant operations across the fleet
