About the role
- Produce accurate monthly accounts and financial performance reports
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasts
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations and EDF Group standards
- Collaborate with Finance Manager and wider Finance & Commercial team
- Work across departments to refine financial processes and reporting tools
- Shape and improve systems within a newly established finance function
- Engage with stakeholders in France with occasional travel required
- Support Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C projects by providing financial insights
Requirements
- Qualified accountant or accounting technician (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, AAT)
- Experience in preparing management accounts within a project-based environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Professional-level Excel proficiency
- Solid understanding of the UK accounting landscape
- Experience with SAP, Power Apps, and financial IT systems is a plus
- French language skills would be beneficial
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Evidence of right to work in the UK
