About the role
- Installation of power products on customer site
- Commission and decommissioning of power products on customer site
- Fit data loggers & power analyses
- Attend equipment breakdowns
- Service and maintain Diesel driven Generators to a high standard
- Deliver generator applications - Motor starting and variable voltage
- Carry out load testing using sigma PC software
- Deliver no break sync applications - grid lock
- Telemetry installation in field
- Basic electrical fault finding < 1500v dc and <1000v ac
- Be able to operate fleet load bank
- Low voltage switching, maintenance, isolation, commissioning
- From time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business
Requirements
- Technical capability (power and ideally temperature control)
- A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (Mechanical and or Electrical)
- Good organisational & communication skills
- Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
- Experience of Generator controls, Deepsea, Dief etc.
- Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
- Able to manage a client's expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
- Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence
- Must be able to work out of hours as and when required, and be part of the on-call rota
