About the role
- Oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works
- Lead in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans
- Deliver new Projects into Sizewell C Project with safety and quality at the forefront
- Collaborate with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success
- Drive innovation and embed lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery
Requirements
- Proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction and civil engineering projects
- Industry expertise within construction and civil engineering
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on projects
- Management skills: Supervising Tier 1 contractors
- Leadership capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration
- Technical knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools
- Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively
- Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable
- SMSTS and CSCS site manager card - Essential
