About the role

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR queries.
  • Provide a comprehensive generalist HR advisory and support.
  • Employee Relations Case Management: Investigations, Disciplinaries & Grievances.
  • Sickness absence management and performance improvement.
  • Coaching managers and key stakeholders on people management.
  • Occupational Health & Sickness Absence Monitoring.
  • Arrange referrals to occupational health and ensure appropriate file notes & documentation are produced.
  • Liaise with employee & manager, to monitor & review absence and possible options.
  • Provide data and statistics on HR metrics, such as turnover, retention and ER cases.
  • Support Learning and Development and early careers initiatives.
  • Process and manage sponsored workers, ensuring compliance with UK employment Law.
  • Assist with and coordinate Skills, Education and EDI recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with client KPIs and reporting for SEE, EDI and community engagement.
  • Assist with the research/production of ad-hoc projects (Annual salary/bonus increases, employee communications, Redundancies).

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified or hold extensive stand-alone generalist ER/HR experience.
  • Have hands-on experience of managing and conducting Employee Relations meetings.
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels.
  • Have excellent organisational and planning skills to help ensure the delivery of a fast-paced HR service.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice.
  • Be fully proficient with all Microsoft office packages, including extracting and analysing data.
  • It would be a bonus if you have experience in: Joint Venture/complex projects.
  • Work Visas, Immigration and Vetting.
  • Construction sectors.
