Interacts with clients on a frequent basis (daily, weekly or monthly) as needed under the scope of each engagement
Responds timely to client inquiries
Keeps the Supervising Senior, Manager, Director and/or Partner informed of any developments or issues on client accounts
Timely performs assigned recurring accounting duties such as posting accounts payable or accounts receivable transactions, paying vendor and expenses due, depositing checks, and ensuring all bank transactions are properly recorded
Requirements
Proven and thorough understanding of double entry accounting
At least two years' experience in an accounting function
Demonstrated performance of accounting tasks (processing of transactions and maintenance of accounting records)
Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in English
Self starter with proven ability to identify issues
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
