About the role

  • Project manage the consultative and technical delivery of Sight Machine’s Manufacturing Data Platform to drive Industrial AI and digital transformation
  • Coordinate complex consulting support and technical delivery at a global scale
  • Orchestrate structured, rigorous project delivery matched to ideal manufacturing outcomes
  • Coordinate with stakeholders inside the client, Sight Machine, and third party organizations across discovery, implementation, expansion, and ongoing support
  • Drive storytelling to help customers understand how work, strategy, and prioritizations drive value and outcomes
  • Serve simultaneously with client-side plant floor operations, IT, data science, business intelligence, and leadership
  • Coordinate how Sight Machine works with delivery, system integration, and sales partners
  • Get familiar with the client's business environment to lead projects effectively
  • Allocate tasks to project management team and provide regular guidance to team members
  • Ensure scope and schedule are achievable within time and budget; maintain reviews, reporting, and project documentation
  • Support delivery-related risk management activities
  • Travel to client business and factory sites to kick-off engagements, walk factory floors, and support onsite planning and delivery sessions (up to 30%)

Requirements

  • Expertise in formal project management methodology and controls
  • Expertise in providing consulting services in a manufacturing operations context
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a variety of project environments
  • Exceptional problem-solving and resource planning skills
  • First-class verbal and written communication skills, with strong senior client management skills with executive level communication expertise
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% domestic and international to client and factory sites
  • Helpful but not required: Project management certifications or formal education
  • Helpful but not required: Experience with data science in the manufacturing context
  • Helpful but not required: Experience with software development management
