About the role

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of freight and parcel claims.
  • Work closely with operations, customer success, and data teams to resolve claims.

Requirements

  • Review and process parcel and freight claims for loss, damage, or delay according to company policies and carrier terms.
  • Communicate with carriers, clients, and internal teams to keep claims moving smoothly.
  • Check shipping documents to determine who’s responsible and determine liability and settlement.
  • Enter and update claim information accurately in the tracking system.
  • Leverage ChatGPT and AI-based tools to assist in claim documentation, report drafting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to monitor claims KPIs such as resolution time, claim frequency, and cost per claim.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify claim trends and share insights that lead to operational improvements and preventative measures.
