About the role
- research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and support cutting edge products & services
- develop complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems
- design and development, analysis, and test of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline
- typically 10 more years of relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
- Exposure to Engineering Simulation such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermal Analysis using tools such as StarCCM or CFD++
- Understanding of aircraft external loads
- Understanding of aircraft performance and stability and control
- Exposure to wind tunnel and aircraft flight test
- Experience with system-level static and dynamic modeling & simulation
- Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military
