About the role

  • research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and support cutting edge products & services
  • develop complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems
  • design and development, analysis, and test of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline
  • typically 10 more years of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
  • Exposure to Engineering Simulation such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermal Analysis using tools such as StarCCM or CFD++
  • Understanding of aircraft external loads
  • Understanding of aircraft performance and stability and control
  • Exposure to wind tunnel and aircraft flight test
  • Experience with system-level static and dynamic modeling & simulation
  • Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military
