About the role
- Responsible for producing high quality documentation appropriate to its intended audience.
- Ensure that development and delivery of documentation is consistent and compliant with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product(s).
- Focus on reuse and single-source opportunities for content.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ direct work experience technical writing in a medical device manufacturing company.
- Proven technical writing Life Sciences working experience.
- Strong working knowledge of XML content management including publication structures, content reuse and content development protocols.
- Experience developing documentation with authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign, and MS preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of Medical Device compliance with FDA and international regulatory guidelines.
- Education: Technical Writing Certification (preferred) or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, business, science or other related field required.
