Responsible for producing high quality documentation appropriate to its intended audience.
Ensure that development and delivery of documentation is consistent and compliant with regulatory and company guidelines.
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product(s).
Focus on reuse and single-source opportunities for content.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ direct work experience technical writing in a medical device manufacturing company.
Proven technical writing Life Sciences working experience.
Strong working knowledge of XML content management including publication structures, content reuse and content development protocols.
Experience developing documentation with authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign, and MS preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of Medical Device compliance with FDA and international regulatory guidelines.
Education: Technical Writing Certification (preferred) or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, business, science or other related field required.
