Oversees daily clinic workflows to ensure efficiency and patient-centered care
Supervises and coaches administrative and clinical support staff
Ensures adherence to pediatric-specific health regulations
Monitors revenue cycle with attention to subspecialty billing opportunities
Identifies gaps in authorizations, referrals and documentation
Fosters a child-friendly and family-centered environment
Designs and implements strategies to improve patient/family satisfaction
Handles escalated patient/family concerns
Uses data and root cause analysis to identify and solve workflow inefficiencies
Acts as a liaison across care teams, leadership and external partners
Recruits and retains staff experienced in pediatric care
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years progressive experience in clinic or healthcare operations
5+ years of relevant experience
Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing clinic workflows
Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (preferred)
Membership in American College of Healthcare (ACHE) (preferred)
Membership in Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) (preferred)
Lean Six Sigma Green Certification (preferred)
2+ years experience in Pediatric or Specialty care Settings (preferred)
