About the role

  • Guide new business by identifying and qualifying new leads that have come through the inbound funnel.
  • Identify client’s needs through assessing their current fulfillment methods by phone, email or ShipBob's conversational platform-Intercom, and use discretionary judgment to assess if they are a fit for our business model.
  • Make recommendations to sales management from merchants who do not “fit the box”.
  • Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives.
  • Achieve daily activity requirements through inbound merchant contact and accurately track merchant interactions and information in the designated tracking system.
  • Consistently meet & exceed monthly and annual quotas.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience.
  • A passion for a career in sales, with clear personal motivation to succeed.
  • Highly organized, goal oriented person with a clear process in accomplishing and successfully achieving goals.
  • Excellent phone skills when calling on businesses.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability.
  • Comfortable in a competitive environment.
  • Relentless persistence.
