About the role
- Guide new business by identifying and qualifying new leads that have come through the inbound funnel.
- Identify client’s needs through assessing their current fulfillment methods by phone, email or ShipBob's conversational platform-Intercom, and use discretionary judgment to assess if they are a fit for our business model.
- Make recommendations to sales management from merchants who do not “fit the box”.
- Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives.
- Achieve daily activity requirements through inbound merchant contact and accurately track merchant interactions and information in the designated tracking system.
- Consistently meet & exceed monthly and annual quotas.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience.
- A passion for a career in sales, with clear personal motivation to succeed.
- Highly organized, goal oriented person with a clear process in accomplishing and successfully achieving goals.
- Excellent phone skills when calling on businesses.
- Ability to multitask.
- Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability.
- Comfortable in a competitive environment.
- Relentless persistence.
