About the role

  • Develop logistical solutions for mid-market businesses using ShipBob's full suite of services
  • Strategically construct outreach and set qualified meetings that convert to closed deals for Mid-Market Account Executives
  • Identify, research, and qualify new opportunities weekly, adding 10+ prospects per day
  • High-volume outbound cold calls, emails and social selling (e.g., >40 dials, 5 connected calls, 20+ minutes talk time daily)
  • Research potential enterprise customers using LinkedIn, CRM systems, and industry databases
  • Engage with decision makers to assess fulfillment methods and determine fit
  • Make recommendations for merchants who do not fit the box
  • Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives
  • Track merchant interactions and achieve daily activity requirements in designated tracking system
  • Consistently exceed monthly and annual quota
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and evolving needs of enterprise clients
  • Perform additional duties as necessary

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated success in a sales environment targeting Mid-Market accounts
  • Experience using ABM strategies
  • Experience selling over the phone and smart calling various types of businesses or merchants
  • Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability
  • Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition
  • Relentless persistence in the face of daily rejection and delays from potential merchants
  • An aptitude for research and understanding data
