💰 $150,000 - $175,000 per year
About the role
- Assist with the design, preconstruction and construction activities on a given project(s).
- Interact daily with Contractors, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, and Vendors.
- Review design documents, bid packages, and schedules to ensure conformance with contract expectations.
- Identify and ensure implementation of standards and low-cost alternatives.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to review OFCI equipment submittals for compliance.
- Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
- Provide design and installation support to on-site staff, EPC contractor, and EPC project management team.
- Support project teams in resolving design issues discovered during construction and commissioning phases.
- Conduct effective pre-construction planning sessions.
- Verify that construction agrees with engineering design drawings.
- Perform field observations and provide installation support as part of the construction quality assurance process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in construction management, design, design management, or relevant field
- 5+ years’ experience with data center design and/or construction projects
- Experience with mechanical engineering systems and their integration into mission-critical environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred but not required)
