About the role
- Own the pipeline of new locations to support Serve’s strategic needs
- Coordinate with operations, finance and legal to evaluate new locations
- Conduct property visits of both existing and potential properties
- Negotiate leases and own relationships with real estate brokers and new and existing landlords
- Manage Serve’s current portfolio of locations and maintain compliance with existing leases
- Manage, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors as needed to service properties
- Track, forecast, and communicate all real estate related expenses and contracts with the finance and legal teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial real estate experience, with at least 2 years of experience negotiating commercial real estate leases
- Experience managing commercial real estate properties
- You have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing shifting priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment
- Previous experience as a commercial real estate broker or experience in real estate acquisitions (preferred)
- Previous experience as a property manager (preferred)
- Willingness to take on a broad range of tasks is essential (preferred)
