About the role

  • Lead a team of IT Product Analysts and own product vision and strategy
  • Oversee product prioritization, requirement documentation, change management, and product delivery
  • Foster cross-departmental relationships and communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Assess product effectiveness using metrics and facilitate adjustments to meet customer and business needs
  • Promote planning, execution, and delivery of new product features within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Administer HR activities including performance and salary reviews; develop and motivate staff
  • Innovate through agile development, apply creativity and facilitate product discovery
  • Utilize understanding of organization’s capabilities and technology to align solutions with customer needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience
  • Well-developed understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and product management principles
  • Strong technical understanding of systems, processes, and relevant technologies
  • Thorough understanding of business strategy, industry trends, and customer expectations
  • Demonstrated customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of user needs and preferences
  • Skilled analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Superior communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with challenging priorities and requirements
  • Belief in the value of promoting team culture
  • Experience in underwriting or financial systems preferred
  • Significant interpersonal skills and ability to drive with a positive attitude
