About the role

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing end-user application delivery solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Citrix, VDI, and related platforms
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals
  • Document architecture designs, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Support project delivery and contribute to strategic IT initiatives
  • Report onsite/hybrid to Warrenville, IL and travel between locations as required

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT engineering experience
  • 1+ year of experience in solution architecture (2+ years preferred)
  • Proven experience with Citrix, VDI, VDA, and thin client environments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills
  • Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Candidate must have a car and be able to travel between locations and transport equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Two or more mid-to-expert level platform certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, CCNP, CCIE, MZ-AZ, NCTSP) or equivalent experience
  • One or more of: ITIL, TOGAF, CEAP, PMP (or equivalent experience)
  • Willingness to complete background check
