About the role
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing end-user application delivery solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Citrix, VDI, and related platforms
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals
- Document architecture designs, workflows, and operational procedures
- Support project delivery and contribute to strategic IT initiatives
- Report onsite/hybrid to Warrenville, IL and travel between locations as required
Requirements
- 7+ years of IT engineering experience
- 1+ year of experience in solution architecture (2+ years preferred)
- Proven experience with Citrix, VDI, VDA, and thin client environments
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Candidate must have a car and be able to travel between locations and transport equipment
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Two or more mid-to-expert level platform certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, CCNP, CCIE, MZ-AZ, NCTSP) or equivalent experience
- One or more of: ITIL, TOGAF, CEAP, PMP (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to complete background check
