• Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of 8 Data Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, transparency and above all psychological safety
• Drive hiring and onboarding processes to grow the team with top talent when needed
• Provide technical guidance and career development opportunities to your team members
• Contribute hands-on in ways complementary to your role, such as by improving architecture and tooling or technical leadership of a product team
• Partner with our Principal Software Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our data pipelines and infrastructure
• Work closely with Product Managers of the different value streams to facilitate timely delivery of new features and identify staffing needs
• Collaborate with fellow Engineering Managers and the VP of Technology to advance strategic projects that cross domains, such as cloud cost management, ingestion architecture and self-service analytics
• Establish best practices in data engineering and software development, emphasizing scalability, code quality, testing, and continuous integration

Engineering Manager – Data

• You’ll support our development team with solid tools, automations and processes for CI/CD, testing and deployment.
• You’ll manage our AWS infrastructure and monitor its performance, making sure it’s ready to scale as needed, it’s properly secured and costs are predictable.
• You are upgrading significant parts of our infra to be ready for the next level. You’ll be working with state of the art tools (e.g. Kubernetes, infra-as-code, managed services) on a modern cloud architecture.
• You’ll interact with developers, data engineers and scientists and product managers to make sure your solutions are solving actual problems.
• You’ll join a small DevOps team, complementing the other three DevOps engineers and picking up projects independently.
• You work together with the other developers by sharing knowledge, discussing tech solutions, improving our own tools and processes and reviewing code.
• Being part of a scale-up, you are proactive and pragmatic in prioritizing and solving the needs of our development team.

Consultant

• Collaborate closely with clients to assess the condition of their rotating equipment and provide actionable insights for effective maintenance
• Analyze sensor data to assess equipment condition and recommend timely maintenance actions
• Interpret AI-generated insights and provide clear, actionable advice to clients
• Collect feedback to continually improve service effectiveness and customer satisfaction
